
This detached ADU project in Santa Monica, CA involved the demolition of an illegally constructed garage and room addition, followed by the ground-up build of a brand-new, fully permitted 675 sq. ft. accessory dwelling unit. Abraham Building & Consulting managed the entire process—from demo and permitting to full construction—bringing this modern living space to life in just 6 months.
The ADU includes a full-size kitchen, a spacious bedroom with closets, a loft area for added flexibility, and a bathroom with a custom walk-in shower. Additional features include a sliding glass door that opens to a small backyard and a patio cover that adds charm and function to the outdoor area.
